Name of Post: Rifleman/Riflewomen (General Duty)
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10th pass from a recognised board.

Name of Post: Warrant Officer Radio Mechanic
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
Educational Qualification: 10th pass & diploma in Radio and Television Technology or engineering pass. OR
12th pass with aggregate 50% with physics, chemistry & mathematics.

Name of Post: Warrant Officer Draughtsman
Age Limit: 18 to 25 years
Educational Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent and 3 years Diploma in Architectural Assistantship.

Name of Post: Havildar X-Ray Assistant
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass with diploma in Radiology from a recognized Board or University.

Name of Post: Rifleman Electrician Mechanic Vehicle
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training Institute certificate in Motor Mechanic trade from a recognized Institute.

Name of Post: Rifleman Vehicle Mechanic Fitter
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10th class pass with English, Mathematics and Science and Diploma/ITI certificate from recognized institute.

Name of Post: Rifleman Plumber
Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10th class pass from a recognized Board with Industrial Training institute certificate in Plumber trade from a recognized Institute.

Age Limit: 18 to 23 years
Educational Qualification: 10th pass from a recognised board.

Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation for OBC is 3 years and SC/ST is 5 years respectively.

How to Apply for Assam Rifles Recruitment ?

Only one dependent family member of ASSAM RIFLES personnel who were killed in action, died while in service, discharged from service on medical grounds and missing while in service are eligible to apply for compassionate ground appointment.

Candidates shall submit their offline applications as per format attached alongwith self attested copies of educational certificate, domicile certificate, caste certificate, diploma/technical/ITI certificate (as applicable) of the trade in accordance with Qualitative Requirements, incl one Xerox copy of photo ID i.e. AADHAAR, PAN/Voter ID/ Driving license etc to the address mentioned below:-

The candidates have liberty to intention their choice for any of the multiple trades out of the advertised trades/ posts in their application forms. Opportunity for Computer Based Trade (Skill) Test will be given to the candidates for only one trade/ post at the time of recruitment rally he has applied for.
